The WGSDCA Board of Management is entering a period of change as we announce a vacancy for the Vice President position due to changes in Sam’s circumstances.
Sam’s contributions to the Board have been invaluable, particularly her dedication to writing articles for our collaboration partner, Petcover Australia.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sam for her service and wish her the very best in her future endeavors.
Meet Cass
Cass’s journey in the world of IGP began in 2020 with her first dog, Lira. Although relatively new to the sport, Cass’s energy and commitment have been nothing short of inspiring. Together with Lira, she has already achieved an IGP2 title and claimed victory at the 2024 WGSDCA IGP1 Championship — a testament to her determination and love for the sport.
Looking Ahead
The Vice President role is a cornerstone of the WGSDCA Board, shaping the direction of our organisation and supporting the growth of our sport.
Cass’s enthusiasm makes her an exciting addition to the leadership team. She brings a breath of youthful energy, representing the younger generation within the WGSDCA membership base.

Cass has been involved in IGP since 2020, when she got her first dog - Lira. What Cass lacks in years in the sport she makes up for in enthusiasm and passion. She currently holds an IGP2 with her dog and has her sights set on an IGP3 in 2025. Cass is an active member of Eastside Shepherd Dogsport Group, and enjoys travelling to train with other groups when she can throughout the year.
