2026 - Changes to IGP Rules

Please note the following IGP rule changes -

FCI FH 1

The wait time to start the track is reduced to a minimum of 60 minutes (from 90mins).

Obedience

Retrieving on Flat

Marking – Only the minimum distance (8 m) and maximum distance (12 m) are now marked.

Sidelines – Removed completely. The angle of the retrieve is now irrelevant.

Misthrow – Placement on the boundary line at the point closest to the thrower.

Retrieve over Hurdle

Landing zone – The rectangle is widened by 50 cm on both the left and right sides.

Minimum distance – Is reduced to 4 meters from the hurdle.

Misthrow – Placement on the line nearest point or exit point depending on where dumbbell lands.

Retrieve over Cimbing Wall

IGP 3 Distance – Reduced to 4 meters (measured from the center of the obstacle).

Objective – To focus on a true climbing jump instead of merely running over with speed.
