Dr. Luke Smith Achieves Foreign Veterinary Radiologist Accreditation

We’re excited to announce that Dr. Luke Smith (BSVc, BAppSci, MANZCVS) has successfully completed the Foreign Veterinary Radiologist accreditation program established by the WGSDCA in partnership with the German Giessen Dysplasia Centre (DZG).

Dr. Smith, based at Vineyard Veterinary Hospital in the Greater Sydney Area, Hawkesbury (approximately 50 km northwest of Sydney CBD), is now accredited to assist German Shepherd owners with hip and elbow X-ray scoring through DZG. These scores are officially recognised by WUSV. We sincerely appreciate the support by Dr. Smith and Vineyard Veterinary Hospital in making this service available to the German Shepherd community.

In addition to his expertise in radiology, Dr. Smith has a strong passion for reproduction, having completed his membership examinations in animal reproduction in 2021.
